Fort Jesus

This half day tour shows you the site of Kenya's oldest and second largest town. Stops include Fort Jesus (designed in the 16th century by the Italian architect Baptisto Cairati) and the traditional Akamba wood carving Village. The huge pentagon “Fort Jesus” built by the portugues 1593-1598 with a 15 Metre Moat gives you the true taste of Mombasa landmark. the Fort is today hailed as one of the best examples of 16th century Portuguese military architecture. The Tour continues through Old town , the Market and Biashara street. (This can Be combined with a beach Hotel)

Bombolulu Workshops is a project of the Association for the Physically Disabled in Kenya (APDK). Located in Mombasa for approaching 35 years, Bombolulus four sheltered workshops and their artisans have clearly demonstrated the ability to combat poverty through the creation and trade of handicrafts.
